June Golf Tournaments
The biggest event of the month is the US Open, won in extraordinary style last year by the incomparable Tiger Woods. It was to be the last tournament he would play on tour last year as he incurred a serious knee injury and played much of the US Open on one leg. His magnificent putt on the 18th that forced a play off with Rocco Mediate will live long in the memory. Woods of course went on to win the 18 hole play off, to win his third US Open crown. This year the US Open will be played at the Bethpage State Park Golf Club in New York.
